Terms of the Gift Cards Liber
The terms of the Liber Gift Cards (“Terms”) apply to the purchase and use of Liber Gift Cards.
The term “Gift Card”, as used in these Terms, refers to unused, disposable Liber gift cards (including electronic codes) of fixed monetary value or discount ceiling, each corresponding to a voucher. “Liber Balance” refers to any prepaid balance that may be used to pay for access to the Liber service, including Liber Gift Cards and used electronic gift codes.
1. Use of Liber Gift Card
Gift Cards can only be used to access the Liber service in countries where the service is offered in the currency indicated on the Gift Card. To use a Gift Card, visit libercare.com, download the application, and when prompted with the payment screen, enter the card code. In order to use a Gift Card, you must create or already have a valid Liber account. When a Gift Card is activated, its total value is applied to your Liber account.
2. Refunds and cancellation of prepaid memberships
Neither Gift Cards nor Liber Balance are refundable, exchangeable for cash, or equivalent, unless you are entitled to a refund for cancellations or non-compliance, in accordance with the imperative legislation of your country of residence. If you cancel your membership to Liber and still have Liber Balance in your Liber account, your membership will only be canceled when your Liber Balance has been fully consumed.
3. No fees or expiration date
Gift Cards and Liber Balance have no expiration date and are not subject to any fees.
4. Additional restrictions
Any Gift Card or Liber Balance obtained fraudulently may be invalidated and voided at Liber's sole discretion. The use of Gift Cards indicating or implying that any person, site, company, product, or service is approved, sponsored, or otherwise associated with Liber is prohibited without prior written consent from Liber.
5. Issuance and applicable law
Gift Cards are issued by UpHill S.A.. These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with Portuguese Law, but shall not limit any consumer protection rights available to you under the imperative legislation of your country of residence.
